A power estimation approach for calculating the of a flapping-wing air vehicle (FWAV) in forward flight is proposed this paper. One challenges and essential points FWAVs endurance. In order to optimize FWAVs, it necessary analyze required addition kinematic aerodynamic analyses prototype. Previously, birds was limited their average power, which assumed lift usually same as gravitational force. However, varies with flapping angle during flight. As result, determined work by using model drive element wing flapping, along model, cycle. Experiments were performed two prototypes wingspans 1.6 1.8 m, utilizing wind tunnel platform. The correlations between attack, frequency, incoming flow velocity discovered, recommendations flying mode design provided. several are highlighted application practical efforts.
